Avion Express is a narrow-body ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, Insurance) and charter operator. Avion Express provides top-level short and long-term aircraft wet-leasing (ACMI) solutions and also offers its’ clients aircraft on a charter basis. The company operates an Airbus A320 family aircraft fleet.
Avion Express is looking for ambitious professionals to support the company’s technical matters and further development of the company. The position is based in Vilnius, Lithuania.

ARE YOU READY TO?
‣Select and monitor suppliers for engine and APU maintenance, elaborate and review contracts as per CAME standards;
‣Attend all internal and external audits related to CAMO duties in respect of engines and APU, and participate to Authorities audits and close findings ;
‣Actively participate in the elaboration, monitoring and supervision of Key Performance Indicators related to CAMO engineering activities ;
‣Assist Fleet Management team for any powerplant related points in Lease agreements, in aircraft phase-in and phase-out;
‣Developing engine maintenance programs such as Engine washes to optimize the on-wing life of the engine;
‣Creating engine and APU removal forecasts and informing Lessors accordingly;
‣Determining embodiment of, and managing, product improvement initiatives applicable to aircraft powerplants and systems including auxiliary power units, supporting Reliability Program and Aircraft Maintenance Programs CAMO engineers;
‣Liaising with engine and component manufacturers and repair agencies and utilizing trend performance data and known/potential failure causes to implement preventive actions to minimize pre-mature engine removals and reduce engine operating costs
‣Managing the Powerplant Engineering department.
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
‣Aeronautical university degree or equivalent;
‣Minimum 8 years of work experience in aviation business industry;
‣Significant experience and knowledge of V2500 and CFM56-5 family engines;
‣Experience and knowledge of 131-9A and APS3200 APUs;
‣Knowledge on A320Neo engines will be a plus:
‣Strong communication, time and team management skills;
‣Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
