Avion Express is dry-leasing one A321 aircraft to Sky Angkor Airlines (Cambodia) and damp-leasing two A320 aircraft to SKY Airline (Chile).
The dry-lease covers the period from December 2017 to March 2018. Sky Angkor Airlines previously leased two Airbus A320-200 from Avion Express during the same period one year ago.
Alongside this, two A320s (LY-VEF and LY-VEI) have been deployed to Chile on a seasonal contract. This will be the first leasing arrangement between Avion Express and SKY Airline.
SKY Airline, a low-cost carrier based in Santiago, Chile, is the second largest airline in the country. It has been recognized as the “Best regional carrier in South America” for 3 consecutive years (2014, 2015 and 2016), according to Skytrax, a prize that is awarded by clients themselves. In 2016, SKY was awarded national prize “Procalidad” in the category of “airlines” as the company with Best Customer Satisfaction in Chile.
Sky Angkor Airlines currently has 7 aircraft operating scheduled domestic flights to destinations in China and South Korea from Siem Reap and Sihanoukville.
Avion Express is the largest airline in Lithuania and the largest narrow-body wet-lease operator in the world. During the season of 2017 Avion Express was operating 16 Airbus 319/320/321 aircraft.
