Junior Powerplant and Landing Gear Engineer

Work description:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and control Engine Trend Monitoring Results and prepare monthly reports;
  • Control Life Limited/Hard Time Parts of powerplant, APU and landing gear, including Back-to-Birth files creation;
  • Assist Maintenance in troubleshooting and part number applicability;
  • Develop, manage and control that all applicable AD’s, Operational Directives with a continuing airworthiness impact and Mandatory Service Bulletins are applied (powerplant, APU, landing gear);
  • Develop, manage and control non-mandatory Service Bulletins review and implementation, if necessary (powerplant, APU, landing gear);

Training Coordinator

Work description:

DESCRIPTION:

The main purpose of this position is the coordination of all matters relating to aircrew training planning, production, maintenance and record keeping. Ensuring that all Flight Crew and Cabin Crew training complies with relevant legislation.

DUTIES:

  • Prepare the flight and cabin crew training plans;
  • Perform equipment and training premises reservation according to the training schedule;
  • Coordinate and follow up the training process with the crew planning;
  • Follow up the training progress and check training completion or additional training necessity;
  • Ensure the correct use of training records and supervise training records flow after training completion from the instructor to training personal files;
  • Consult flight and cabin crew on issues related to training validity;
  • Follow up an appropriate identification, legibility, storage, protection, archiving and retrieval of training records.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in Training field (know-how from the aviation industry would be considered an advantage);

RELIABILITY AND AMP ENGINEER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and manage applicable reliability program;
  • Control and evaluate repetitive/chronic defects;
  • Prepare monthly aircraft statistics table as per CAA and company requirements;
  • Collect data and prepare aircraft reliability report as per reliability program;

Systems Engineer

Work description:

DESCRIPTION:

Systems Engineer will directly report to the Engineering Manager and will be a significant part of the Engineering unit in the Maintenance Department.  As an employee, the Systems Engineer will tightly cooperate with MCC and PART-145.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in troubleshooting of aircraft systems;
  • Control of maintenance check flights when it is necessary;
  • Participate in analyzing the effectiveness of the maintenance program;
  • Participate in monitoring repetitive defects and propose corrective actions;
  • Participate in creating the aircraft technical log system;
  • Participate in MEL creation by providing necessary technical information;
  • Prepare maintenance task cards from additional sources than AMM if needed;
  • Prepare procedures for troubleshooting if needed;
  • Manage and update Life Limited parts data related to landing gears;
  • Ensure communication between Engineering and Planning about works performed and to be done.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree in aviation;
  • Knowledge of EASA rules and regulations, Part-M and Part-145;
  • Knowledge of Airbus A320 family aircraft at least at general familiarization level;
  • Languages: Fluent English is essential, other languages are considered an advantage;

Operations Engineer

Work description:

DESCRIPTION:

Operations Engineer will directly report to Operations Engineering Manager and will be a significant part of Operations Engineering unit. An employee will tightly cooperate with peers – Operations, Weight & Balance and Performance Engineers, as well as with Chief Pilot, Base Captains and other pilots to help build and maintain Operations Engineering structure on a high level, which brings vast contribution to Avion Express continuous rapid growth.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Full technical customization and revision storage of the Flight Operations documents;
  • Flight Operations document follow-up and distribution to the Avion Express Intranet, Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) System and aircraft library;
  • Collection and data processing of CATII/III reports;
  • Aircraft relevant FMS navigational database creation and distribution;
  • Full EFB System administration;
  • Maintaining proper information and task sharing with Technical Pilot about technical documentation changes;
  • Providing proper information to the Operations Engineering Manager for the establishment of the standard operating procedures in relation to the EFB-System, whenever amendments are implemented;
  • Providing proper information to the Head of Training for the implementation of related procedures in the respective training modules, whenever amendments to the system are made and coordinated with the Operations Engineering Manager;
  • Dissemination of safety and/or operationally relevant information to the Operations Engineering Manager and other flight operations department managers;
  • Follow up applicable regulatory requirements, manufacturers communication and other relevant information from external sources within the area of his/her responsibility;
  • Safety performance, assurance of security and integrity of EFB system(s) and relevant data, as well as all functions within the area of his/her responsibility;
  • Promotion of safety awareness, reporting and feedback in the area of his/her responsibility;
  • Other relevant tasks and duties as may be required and duly notified by the Operations Engineering Manager and/or Head of Flight Operations.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree in transport engineering or equivalent background (University degree in Aviation or final years in aviation institute would be an advantage);
  • Experience in airline operations and/or technical documentation management would be an advantage;

CADET PROGRAMME AT BAA TRAINING

Work description:

Avion Express together with BAA Training, one of the leading aviation training centres in Northern Europe, created a pilot training programme for people with little to no flying experience to meet the constantly growing demand for new pilots.

After successfully completing the ATPL (frozen) course, pilots will have a chance to join Avion Express.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SELECTION PROCESS:

  • Age: 18 years old and over;
  • Education: Secondary or higher;
  • Physical status: valid EASA 1st Class Medical Certificate;
  • Residency: unrestricted right to live and work in the European Union;
  • Theoretical preparation: Knowledge of Mathematics, Physics, and English is of key importance;
  • Personal competence and aptitude: all candidates must go through special tests and interviews developed by the selection committee of BAA Training and Avion Express for social competence and aptitude assessment.

PROGRAMME CONTENT:

Open Theoretical part consists of 14 subjects (790 hours) to be completed in 6-8 months:

  • 15 hours FFS.
